Golden North Hotel

The Golden North Hotel was built in 1898, at the height of the gold rush. It is now home to several stores.

The hotel is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a woman named Mary, who was married to a prospector. There are numerous versions recounting her demise. However, her ghost has been reported in the halls or watching from a window. Also sighted is a "hazy, grayish light".

Other phenomena include mysterious noises, footsteps, blasts of cold air, temperature drops, and feeling of choking. Mysterious lights have also been observed.

Red Onion Saloon

The Red Onion Saloon was built in 1897. However, the original Saloon operated as one the finest bordellos in Skagway. Nowadays, it is known as "Skagway’s favorite saloon, restaurant and brothel museum".

The Saloon is reputedly haunted, and phenomena include: a "wispy female figure" and a shadowy form; the scent of perfume; the sounds of footsteps running; and doors that will not open because items have been placed against them from the inside.

Other phenomena include mysterious noises, footsteps, blasts of cold air, temperature drops, and feeling of choking. Mysterious lights have also been observed.
