Blue Coat Inn

The Blue Coat Inn was built in 1948 and ran as an inn until it was demolished in 2007. The site is now occupied by a new building which is home to McGlynn's Pub.

The Blue Coat Inn had a haunted reputation, with five ghosts rumoured to be present there. These comprised of: the builder of the inn, Colonel John Haslet, a drummer boy, a Woman in Black, and a Grey Lady. Other reported effects included: toilets flushing on their own; the sounds of organ music; items moving; employees names being called out in the attic; and doors slamming shut.

It is not known whether there are any phenomena reported from the new building.

Woodburn Mansion (Delaware Govenor's Residence)

The Delaware Governor's Mansion, also known as Woodburn or Governor's House, is the official residence of the Governor of Delaware and the governor's family. It is located in Dover, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as "Governor's House" in 1972.

It is reputedly haunted by an apparition of a man wearing knee breeches and powdered wig; the ghost of the 'slave-catcher' who is sighted hanging from the tree from which he died; and a girl wearing a red-checked dress.
