Old Opera House and Museum

Construction of the Old Opera House began shortly after a devastating fire in 1905 that tore through the business district consuming many properties. Today, the building contains several stores... and ghost stories.

It is reputedly haunted by the sounds of a large group of people, as if there are those returning in the afterlife to enjoy a show. Others have reported children talking and playing, as well as footsteps on the stage area.

Witnesses claim to have seen the apparition of a young girl in a party dress, standing at an upper window. Whereas others have sighted a "tall, shadowy person" near what used to be the dressing rooms. Other effects include the smell of a fruity gum in the air.
