Tampa Theatre

The Tampa Theatre is a city landmark in the Uptown District of downtown Tampa. it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Designed as an atmospheric theatre style movie palace by architect John Eberson, the Tampa Theatre opened on October 15th, 1926.

It is reputedly haunted by the ghost of Foster Finley - or 'Fink' to those who are on friendly terms. He was a projectionist here from 1930 until his death in his projection booth in 1965.

His apparition has allegedly been sighted here. Other phenomena include physical touches or pokes; sudden cold breezes; the feeling of being watched; the sounds of dragging chains; and doors open and close of their own volition.
