The River Road Bridge was constructed in 1922 by the American Bridge Company. The site is where Oregon Trail pioneers forded the Boise River, and as a result was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
It is reputedly haunted, and phenomena include the apparition of a woman who allegedly hung herself from the bridge. A light anomaly has also been reported beneath the structure. Finally, the sounds of a splash has been heard, as if something has fallen from the bridge and into the water - but no evidence of a splash is seen.
