Bell Cabin

The account of the Bell Witch is undoubtedly one of the most infamous in American paranormal history. Indeed, it is renowned even further afield.

The Bell Witch allegedly haunted the family of John Bell from 1817, in what was regarded as a sustained and menacing series of events, including physical abuse, shrieking, cursing and profanities. Some claim it hastened the death of poor John Bell in 1821.

Some claim that the witch was the work of Kate Batts who had quarrelled with John Bell.
