The Ale House

The Ale House was originally a farmhouse, but was taken over by two English men and converted to an bar in 1981, specialising in British Beers. Sadly, the building was torn down in the early 2000's in order for a parking lot to be built to serve a mall. But what of the ghosts that were reputed to haunt the building?

According to sources, the building was supposedly haunted by the ghosts of a woman from the Prohibition era, a servant girl from the early 19th Century and that of a sea captain.

Other alleged paranormal effects included glasses and candles being thrown, candles lighting themselves, the movement of furniture, cold blasts of air, the feelings of a presence, lights turning on, and loud noises and voices.
